Written in September 2002 because I had nothing particularly sensible to add to an on-going 'writing men as men' blog/lj discussion (although I was following it - in all its twists and turns - with great interest), and I thought the following, um, something or other might amuse somebody.

A little seasonal Snape/Hagrid story, prompted by a comment in Rexluscus's LJ. She was talking here about how seeing all the secret santa requests saying things like "no necro and no scat" cracked her up, as if that's all anybody would write for holiday stories if they weren't instructed not to specifically. She wrote: "I've been extra good this year, Santa. But just so you know? I'd prefer that you not send me shit in a box this year. Thanks!" So. Comment-fic that got out of control.

FICTION

Fiction in the following fandoms: Avengers, Beauty and the Beast, Blackadder, Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, Shaara's Civil War Trilogy, Discworld, Doctor Who, Due South, Fables, Good Omens, Harry Potter, A Lion in Winter, Lord of the Rings, Multifandom, Quills, Sherlock-BBC, the 10th Kingdom, Maguire's Wicked, Lawrence's Women in Love )

Note: From 2011 to 2014, all my rec posts included a warning/enticement category, which had to be highlighted to be read (even if there was nothing in particular that needed mentioning, both for the sake of the people who want/need spoilers and for the sake of people like me, for whom even the presence of a warning constitutes too much of a spoiler). However, by 2019, I had a backlog of 400+ stories that needed to be entered on this recs page, and the idea of going back and doing all that extra coding was a little overwhelming. With that in mind: Caveat Lector
