Special Note about Phantom Recs: For a long time, I was wary of reccing anything in this ff.net-based fandom. Most of the stories I was reading would have benefited from at least a little more proofreading, and more importantly, the majority of my favorite fics seemed...a little over-wrought and melodramatic. But then I realized that the same could be said for the [over-wrought and melodramatic] canon(s)! And so...recs!
