Fury's a hard nut to crack. I mean, in stories that take for granted that Phil never died and that Fury covered it up...well, even there, Phil, at least, often gives him a pass because that's sort of Fury's job (unless Phil was already involved with Clint in the story and knows how traumatized Clint would be if he thought Phil was dead).

I really wish I could find some more Fury-centric fic that I really liked, incidentally. I found one Phil/Nick established relationship story that I recced a while back, but great Fury gen or Fury/Hill would please me (if you come across anything you really love, let me know, if you remember - preferably not pwps though)
